Tuesday with James

When I blow my birdie whistle like a police officer, Granma has to stop. That's very funny.
The last day of my art class at the Victoria Art Gallery. Teacher is showing off my masterpiece which will be exhibited May 31st in the gallery.
Picasso might as well put his brushes away.
The singer.

In Vic West

It was supposed to rain today - but it didn't. So we went to my favorite park in West Victoria. Here I go to find my favorite steering wheel in the park. There's a brief moment when Granpa puts on my mittens because I couldn't do it myself.

Starbucks or Crumsby's (a terrific kid friendly cupcake shop)?

Chasing Granpa is also fun.

Where should we go next? Jennifer's house?

Now that's what I like. The bulldozer at the Cascades paper recycling depot.

And the backhoe!

And the amazing bulldozer seen through a gap in the hedge! He does this everyday. It's his work.

Now I'm tired. This was our walk:

Time to go home.

James helping out

This morning we babysat James who, very enthusiastically, sorted out the recipe box.

A trip to Goldstream Park

Today we took a trip to Goldstream Park to see the salmon jumping.

Come on! Let's go!

The salmon are hard to see in the water...until they make a splash.
With Mummy and Granma.
Hmmm, I wonder what's in here?
It's a tree house!
A tree chair.
I didn't understand "dead."

The Truck Park

James' speech is just amazing. He can speak full and proper sentences and easily make himself understood. But it can be difficult to capture on video.

So off we went to The Truck Park - better known as Quimper Park.
And on the way back home - a rendition of Old MacDonald's Farm with a unique twist:
